Hello, I’m Katy. I’m a researcher, creative strategist and multi-disciplinary designer.  I’m interested in social and environmental sustainability, holistic thinking and connecting the dots to explore and communicate design, colour and material futures.

I am currently part of the team at futures research agency FranklinTill, as senior researcher and creative strategist. My work there focuses on client projects across design, technology and lifestyle sectors as well as writing and researching for editorial publications Viewpoint and Viewpoint Colour.

I first trained as an embroidery designer at The Glasgow School of Art and spent over eight years in the fashion and textiles industry.  I returned to academic study and graduated from MA Material Futures at Central St Martins in 2016.
